Annual Campus Security Reports

For the most part, Penn State campuses and the communities that surround them are safe places to live and spend time. Unfortunately, as is the case in most towns and communities, serious crimes do occur.

Each campus produces a report with crime statistics from the previous three years.

These stats reflect crimes reported to local police agencies, or to campus security authorities. They include crimes that occurred in three locations:

1. On campus
2. At off-campus buildings controlled by Penn State
3. Public property immediately adjacent to the campus.

The report also includes institutional policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. You can find the report for your campus on the University Police web site.
